The Mercure du Center du Mans, Chanzy Street, is located in a historic building whose first version was delivered at the end of the nineteenth century to host the seat of the French General Mutual, the ancestor of the MMA insurance. Between 1942 and 1944, in full occupation, the Military Staff of the 7 th German Army (on the front line on June 6, 1944), commissioned by General Dollmann, settled there. This period remains intact, intact, the office dressed in the woodworks occupied by the German general.

Que dire de l'hôtel ? Les services sont irréprochable de l'arrivée au départ. Une chambre proche, un personnel sympas, un responsable investie. Adresse a retenir si vous allez à Le Mans. Une belle terrasse pour se poser, une salle de fitness. Bravo à toute l'équipe

It feels as if you walk inside a bank with a grand entrance, but it is the former building of an insurance company built in 1883. You can see a plaque next to the entrance with the Latin motto "Mutua fide Cenomani Satum ubiquc florcat" (the seed of mutual trust flourishes everywhere)

Reception was friendly and helpful.

The room was nice and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was very nice with lots of tasty choices.

Very nice hotel. The staff, especially the manager, Gerard, were extremely helpful and friendly. For us, traveling with a rental car, the availability of secure, off street parking with direct access to the hotel’s back entrance, was an especially welcome feature.
