LE MANS SONORE

Le Mans Sonore is a biennial sound event that takes place in some 30 venues across the city, and is a cultural event for the general public that combines science and culture in a unique way. At the crossroads of music, design, contemporary art and research, Le Mans Sonore echoes Le Mans' acoustic expertise. The program includes numerous events, workshops, exhibitions, conferences and more. For example, this year's event, sponsored by Jean-Michel Jarre, includes a Sound Journey to Ancient Egypt, a Participatory Vibratory Perception Experience, concerts between the rails, sound installations, a Cabinet of Acoustic Curiosities, Instabilities...
