Long known as Saint-Louis hospice (more than 150 years old), the residence of the Rock Fleuri is located on the hospital site. It has 127 seats reserved for residents in a situation of great dependency. Its appellation of «Rock Bloom» was chosen in October 1988 following a survey of the staff of the hospital and hospice Saint-Louis, by the then director Claude Hugnet.
