Barehanded pelota: competitions, especially in summer at the Fronton.
Fishing competition on the banks of the Bidasoa river.
Selection of hikes :
- The GR 10 which starts from the foothills of the village: to reach the Mediterranean coast, the Ibardin pass or the summit of the Rhune (905 m).
- The Courlecou pass. Between Béhobie and Biriatou, at the place where the old road that joins Béhobie to Ascain and the highway 64 passes, lies this pass, the summit overlooks the Kurleko house called Gazteluzahar. Superb walk.
- The Lancet. From the church of Biriatou, heading east towards the Partridge Rock and then the Osin pass, to go down towards the Lizarlan path to the Lancette brook.
- The Mount of Calvary Kalbarioa. Follow the road to Biriatou and go to the Larretcheko Borda farm. The walk takes about 1 hour. Take the blue and white marked path: a beautiful accessible walk, marked by history. The green place which dominates the Bidasoa valley is always very marked by faith. The inhabitants of Urrugne always come here in procession, a mark of Basque beliefs and faith.
