Any experienced surfer will tell you about the Parlementia spot in Bidart. A mythical beach for many.
Parlementia beach is Bidart's southernmost beach, on the border with the village of Guéthary. Popular with surfers, it's a beach of fine sand and craggy rocks. While searching the rocks for crabs and other shellfish, you can admire the view of the famous Parlementia surf spot, reserved for the initiated. From the restaurant overlooking the beach, you can enjoy a 180-degree panorama. The origin of its name comes from the hill above the beach where men used to gather long ago to... parley.
