Every year in Biarritz, harnessed and mounted trotting races take place throughout July from 8pm on a renovated 803 m sand track with right-hand rope. The meeting comprises 13 evenings, culminating in the Grand Prix de la Ville organized by the Société des Courses au Trot de Biarritz, chaired by C. Hassenforder-Chabriac. Each evening, races take place between 8.10pm and 11.30pm. The racecourse opens at 7pm, and the pari-mutuel betting windows open at 7:45pm. Dates for 2024 night races: 2/4/6/9/11/13/16/18/20/23/25/26 (Grand Prix de la Ville) and July 30.

Since its creation in 1913, Biarritz Olympique (B.O for Biarrots), a legendary club, has worn the red and white colors with pride. Having twice lifted the Brennus Shield before the war (1935 and 1939), the BO gave birth to Biarritz Olympique Pays Basque in 1998 in order to adapt to the new professional world. The adaptation was a success for the club, which was French champion in 2002, 2005 and 2006, as well as European champion (Amlin Cup) in 2012. The club is in the Top 14 for the 2022 season and back in the Pro D2 for the 2023/2024 season.

The equestrian club is the Pôle Equestre de Biarritz. Its aim? He has developed his skills and knowledge of different techniques, which has given him an in-depth understanding of fish behaviour over the seasons. Trained as a hydrobiologist, his playground is the Nive valley (1,300 km of swimmable stretch), the Lauhribar with its tropical vegetation that makes fishing a bit acrobatic, the Nives de Béhérobie, d'Arnéguy, des Aldudes and so on.

Jo Moraiz was a precursor in this field and we can consider that it is him who brought surfing to Biarritz in the sixties. He created the^first surf shop before setting up the^first surf school in 1966, which is still world famous today. He is credited with the first and only teaching method adopted by the Federation as the basis for training for federal and state certificates. A school that also offers accommodation for students.

The sports complex features a long left-hand wall known as jaï-alaï for cesta punta, seating 1,800, a short left-hand wall for pala, paleta and bare hands, and a trinquet for bare hands and paleta. The club regularly fields players from all disciplines in competition. It was the^1st to set up a cesta punta school in 1956, and since 1962, BAC members have been taking part in the world championships of this discipline, a sport that is also played abroad.
