This cinema, right in the center of Biarritz and a stone's throw from the Grande Plage, has been around since 1918! It has three screens, two small ones on the first floor and one large one upstairs, with capacities of 69, 96 and 286 seats respectively. The theaters are equipped with a modern digital sound system (Dolby Digital). Classified as an Art et Essai cinema, and also with the Europa Cinémas label, this perfectly updated structure has a fine cruising speed, with ciné-conférences. The cinema will undergo a facelift in the first half of 2024, with a planned reopening in June.

HIPPODROME DES FLEURS

Every year in Biarritz, harnessed and mounted trotting races take place throughout July from 8pm on a renovated 803 m sand track with right-hand rope. The meeting comprises 13 evenings, culminating in the Grand Prix de la Ville organized by the Société des Courses au Trot de Biarritz, chaired by C. Hassenforder-Chabriac. Each evening, races take place between 8.10pm and 11.30pm. The racecourse opens at 7pm, and the pari-mutuel betting windows open at 7:45pm. Dates for 2024 night races: 2/4/6/9/11/13/16/18/20/23/25/26 (Grand Prix de la Ville) and July 30.
