Ideal starting point for discovering the marshes on a horse-drawn carriage or barge ride through the Brière marshes
In Saint-Lyphard, you're in the heart of the Brière Regional Nature Park. Just beyond the village of Kerhinet, a delightful little hamlet on the edge of the Grande Brière Mottière marsh, you'll come across a canal built in 1935 that links it to Rozé, the opposite village. It's an ideal starting point for exploring the marsh. From the port of Breca, you can take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage or a "chaland" (a traditional marsh boat) through the Brière marshes. It's a magical place, a real change of scenery as you listen to nature.
