It is located next to Margaret's beach, at the end of the ledge. A staircase hanging from the cliff provides access to it. This spring would have given its name to Préfailles, Préssailles (near the spring or projections). In the past, it was recognized as having medicinal properties, capable of treating diseases of the digestive tract and rheumatism. Today, there is only a meagre net left. Dr. Guépin, a famous 19th century doctor and scientist from Nantes, was one of the doctors who praised the healing properties of the chlorinated and ferruginous water from the Prefailles spring, which was favourable to anaemics, chlorotics, fevers, pregnant women and other infections. A curiosity to discover.
