Here is a young company from Nantes created by Mélissa, which offers a range of healthy snacks made from dehydrated fruit and vegetables from local organic farming. The products are 100% natural, with no added salt, sugar or preservatives. You can choose between different formats: the small 22 g sachet (= 1 portion of fruit), or the 60 g sachet to snack at any time of day or to use in your kitchen. And there's a little extra: you can forget about storage, seeds and juices. The technique used allows to keep the natural taste and flavours of processed fruits and vegetables. Because they are cleaned and sliced to be put in the machine at low temperature. This dehydration process is very long, because the low temperature (42°) allows to keep the properties of each product (vitamins and nutrients). Among the dehydrated products coming mainly from producers in the Pays de la Loire Region, we find on the fruit side: apples, pears, kiwis, apricots, red fruits, mangoes, bananas, pineapples, strawberries... and on the vegetable side: parsnips, beets, celery, carrots... A great way to have quality fruit all year round!
