A one-way stretch of coastline with a cycle path and a well-defined customs trail at Le Pouliguen
Dotted with coves, the wild coastline stretches from Pointe de Penchâteau to Baie du Scall. It is a one-way street, with a cycle path and a well-defined customs trail. Caves are part of its charm. There are twenty-three of them. All have been shaped by erosion. Among them is the grotte des Korrigans. Legend has it that goblins made anyone who dared enter their domain disappear. At the entrance to Baie du Sphinx, Grotte des Jumelles is the most interesting of all. It can be reached via two passageways in the form of corridors. Between the openings of the Jumelles, the cathedral is also worth noting. At the entrance to this cave, the upper part of the rock exposes a mixture of pink and pale green, and inside the walls are speckled with red streaks. Once you've reached the end of the trail, head towards avenue Moreau, where you can join one of the Vélocéan circuits and continue your escapade towards Batz-sur-Mer.
