Workshop-boutique with explanations of the chocolate-making trade and the stages of production on old machines
Located in Bayonne, in their manufacturing workshops, the discovery tour takes you on a journey of chocolate discovery. During a 1h30 tour designed by Atelier du Chocolat founders Marie-Pierre and Serge Andrieu, you'll learn all about this familiar treasure, from cocoa tree cultivation to chocolate making. Videos, an exhibition of vintage machines and an educational film are featured. At the end of the tour, a tasting session awaits you, and for the little ones, a creative and gourmet workshop. A visit not to be missed!

THE CHOCOLATE MUSEUM IN BAYONNE, BASQUE COUNTRY
Located in our chocolate factory, the Chocolate Museum is a great way to mark a stay in Bayonne, a city whose history is closely linked to that of chocolate.
Come and meet the cocoa bean and learn about this tasty and familiar treasure, from the cultivation of the cocoa tree to the production of our delicacies. All this is enhanced by videos, an exhibition of old machines and an educational film.
You will also be able to observe our chocolate makers at work in our "lab", separated from you by a glass wall. The melted chocolate beckons you to taste it, the ganache tenderly yielding under the cut... these scenes are worth all the speeches to inspire vocations.

Highly recommended museum , the information is displayed in English language as well. You learn quite a lot regarding the global production of modern chocolate but also about history of our beloved candy. Kids can paint on their own chocolate at the very end while adults have the possibility to taste various chocolate types from all over the world
