Elegant bistro where the chef invites you to discover the great classics according to the seasons, with a glass of your choice as an aperitif.

Another fine address on the quays of the River Nive in the heart of Bayonne. Itsaski ("basket of the sea" in Basque) has all the hallmarks of a bistro and wine cellar, but is also an unmissable gastro. Here, fish from the fish market takes pride of place, not forgetting local meats and poultry. Hake or tuna steak from the fish market, chipirons with cream sauce, entrecôte with Basque blue cheese... The pastry chef will prepare a chocolate moelleux, a delicious pear hibiscus and panna cotta, profiteroles or a rum baba. Wine bar with a selection of the moment.

Un cadre chaleureux, les plats sont élaborés avec soins et avec des produits frais. Produits régionaux aux goûts divins grâce au chef cuisinier. Le service est efficace et avec le sourire. Merci pour cette soirée. PS n'hésitez pas à réserver car comme toute bonne adresse c'est vite complet.

Belle surprise des serveuses à l'écoute nous nous sommes installés dehors iI y avait du soleil après l'entrée on nous a gentillement proposé de nous installer à l'intérieur car il faisait un peu frais , nous avons choisi le menu du jour une pure merveille , établissement que nous recommandons , merci à Léa et Émilie pour leur accueil si nous revenons dans cette magnifique région nous renouvellerons cette expérience.
