Bodéga and restaurant with terrace in front of the quays of Bayonne offering a menu based on fresh and seasonal products.

For over 20 years, Gilles, Maître Restaurateur, has been delighting palates in the warm setting of his bodega, but not only that... with a menu and suggestions inspired by the season and influences, using fresh produce processed on site. On the bodega side, you'll find tapas, raciones and plates to share, while on the restaurant side, the menu is generous, with duck breast and pan-fried forest meat, snacked scallops and the essential prime rib. Selected regional and Spanish wines can be enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the Bayonne quays.

Bon emplacement, restaurant bien sympathique avec une bonne ambiance. Après, une prise de commande rapide, une bonne recommandation pour le vin blanc ( une jeune femme qui connaît bien sa carte et les produits) et coté cuisine, un très bon début avec des entrées vraiment délicieuses (gambas et chipirons). Après les entrées, cela s’est dégradé, 1 heure d’attente pour la suite. La lotte assez réussie mais un peu trop cuite (à mon goût) et un filet de Louvine pas mauvais mais sans intérêt ( et plat pour lequel je cherche la croute de noisettes et chorizo) . Enfin et ce n’est pas très grave du pain pas frais.
Donc dommage car plutôt réussi mais même sans être pressés et en étant indulgent, une heure d’attente entre les plats, c’est vraiment trop.
