The lake of Grand-Lieu is the ornithological reserve of the country

The largest natural lake on the French plains, Grand-Lieu Lake is the country'ssecond largest bird reserve after the Camargue, with more than 270 species of birds. The Maison du Lac makes visitors aware of this natural wealth. The tour begins with an exhibition on the landscapes, fauna and flora of the lake. You then follow the ecological path for 2 km, ending with the former hunting lodge of the perfumer Guerlain, which has been restored. Large terrace with top view on the lake.
