Cathedral also called the Salorge, built in 1886, which is located in Batz-sur-Mer.
You cannot visit the salt marshes without stopping in front of this imposing granite warehouse, with buttresses and slate roofs, characteristic of the importance of the production and marketing of salt in the last century. The cathedral, also known as the Salorge, was built in 1886. It is the most important store of the Guérande Peninsula, it could contain up to 12 000 tons of white gold. Built in 1866 in granite stones and bricks, its dimensions are imposing, 50 meters long for a height of 11 meters.
