The image of the regional Couvert stadium in Liévin has long been associated with the prestigious international athletic meeting it hosted and which was regularly ranked among the best in the world. After two years of suspension of activity following an administrative closure, the work is expected to start this year and a new «pole of sports excellence», a unique complex in Europe, is expected to come into being in the autumn. Combining the stadium and the regional centre for reception and training, this structure is also adapted to major sporting and cultural events.

Bardzo dobrze wspominam pobyt. To obiekt sportowy, bardzo przemyślany pod względem funkcjonalności i dostępu do obiektów sportowych, ale wygodny także dla gości nie związanych ze sportem (ja takim gościem byłam)
