Tower built in 1763, housing a historical interpretation center in Guînes.

The Tour de l'Horloge takes visitors back in time to follow in the footsteps of Sigfrid the Viking, Henry VIII and Francis I. Built in 1763 on an ancient feudal motte, it has housed a historical interpretation center since 2002. A profusion of sounds, smells and materials... Here you can taste and touch, and immerse yourself in the life of yesteryear. Put yourself in the shoes of the Vikings and climb aboard a life-size drakkar. Trunks full of disguises are available for children to become knights and princesses!

Très belle découverte! Contenu du musée très enrichissant et approche très ludique. Les enfants ont passé un excellent moment tout en apprenant des anecdotes de notre Histoire. Je recommande vivement.

Musée ludique et amusant tant pour les enfants que pour les grands. La reconstitution d'un demi drakkar est géniale. Une véritable immersion dans l'histoire de Guînes, du pas de Calais et de la France. Bravo b
