The ruins of this castle are a must-see for nature and history lovers.
Built in the 15th century, the château was both a fortress for defending the Planquette valley and Artois during Charles V's wars, and a richly decorated residence. Ruins and medieval gardens remain today. A guided tour traces the building's history back to the Middle Ages. You can even enter the remains of the underground passageways! An exhibition room extends the discovery. A must-see for nature and history lovers, to be combined with the medieval festival in summer.

Très belle endroit, moi et des amis avons visité se lieu vu qu'il y avait la 24e édition de la foire médiévale de Montaner, qui était incroyable !

Superbe ! Vaut le détour. Très beau site culturel, très bien entretenu,bien organisé, chiens admis.Entrée à 4,50€ avec guide audio pendant la visite .Très belle promenade autour des ruines .Petit musée d'explications à la sortie.Personnel très aimable et bol d'eau à disposition pour les toutous.
