FRESSIN CASTLE

Built in the 15th century, this castle was both a fortress when it was necessary to defend the Planquette valley and Artois during the wars of Charles V and a richly decorated residence. Today, there are still ruins that can be visited thanks to a videoguided tour. This tour traces the history of the building since the Middle Ages. You can even enter the remains of the underground passages! An exhibition room allows you to extend the discovery. An unmissable visit for nature and history lovers, to be combined in summer with the medieval festival.
