Museum presenting the life and history of Etaplois sailors, with documents, models, projections...

Housed in the old fish market opposite the port of Étaples, this 600m2 museum presents the history of Etaples' sailors through documents, models, reconstructed interiors, projections... You'll learn more about the evolution of trawling and the preparation of caught fish for marketing. Life-size boats are also on display! Discover the daily life of fishermen and the multitude of traditional trades, now extinct, closely linked to the sea (coopers, carpenters, sailmakers...).

Un univers d'évasion dans la si jolie petite ville portuaire d'Étaples. Une visite orchestrée par un guide professionnel, ancien pêcheur et combien chaleureux.
