Traditional restaurant focusing on fish and seafood with good value for money in Calais.
Welcome to a traditional restaurant. For nearly ten years, Serge Clabault has been running Le Détroit. Located in front of the quay, the establishment is of course a great place for fish and seafood. So, you can choose for example the cocktail of shrimps and prawns or oysters as a starter, monkfish medallions with green pepper or Normandy-style sole as a main course... But there are other great classics: duck confit, grilled rack of lamb, rabbit with prunes... Modern and comfortable setting, flowered garden, good value for money, here is an address to remember. Please note that a car park facing the restaurant will allow you to park your car easily.

An independent, family-run restaurant overlooking the harbour through a panoramic window. Not in the least bit touristy and all the better for that. Each ingredient, even the simplest, is well-prepared. Service is informal. Good wines on a simple list. Pleasantly surprised. Good turbot - a difficult fish to hook.

Miserabel bis zum ????.Bloß nicht aufsuchen.Ein Fischrestaurant,wo man aufpassen muss,dass man sich keine Vergiftung holt.Alles sehr,sehr dreckig.

Furchtbares überteuertes Essen. Gambas verbrannt..das Filet wurde von uns zurückgeschickt und das Neue war nicht besser und auch keine Einsicht von der Chefin, kein gutes Fleisch. Die Seezunge schwamm im Fett..die Gläser waren dreckig..nie, nie wieder und nicht empfehlenswert..Toilette sind dreckig.

Nous avons été toujours aussi enchantés de l'accueil, les conseils du serveur et de la fraîcheur des produits.
Nous nous sommes régalés du plateau de fruits de mer "de base". La fraîcheur, la quantité et le prix ont fait que nous avons appréciés triplement ce repas.
Nous ne pouvons que conseiller, lors d'une balade à Calais, d'aller rendre une "visite" au détroit !! Vous ne serez pas déçu.
