Museum in Ambleteuse organizing an exhibition retracing the history of the Second World War, through period objects.
On the coastal road between Boulogne and Calais, it is impossible to pass by this museum without noticing the presence of military vehicles - notably the famous Shermann tank - on display outside. The permanent exhibition retraces the history of the Second World War through thousands of period objects, while sketches relate the different stages of the conflict. The explanations are clear, precise and accessible to all. The visit is fascinating and the reconstructions impressive, ideal for a better understanding of history.

Ce musée présente une belle collection d'objets datant de la guerre 39-45 (chaussures, vêtements, documents,...) ainsi qu'une très riche collection d'uniformes de différents pays (Ecosse, Afrique du Nord, Russie,...) Très beau et très intéressant. Le film présenté est émouvant. Les vitrines sont changées tous les ans. ne ps hésiter avant d'y retourner. le personnel est très aimable.
