A former monastery in Tourcoing, the Hospice d'Havre is a place of cultural exchange around international and local artists.
Founded in 1260, Hospice d'Havré became a monastery in 1631. The original convent features fine brick and stone architecture, a cloister, a garden with medicinal plants and a chapel. After the last resident left, the former monastery became a college and then a Maison Folie. Today, it's a place of cultural exchange, showcasing local and international artists through exhibitions, shows, concerts, guided tours and workshops!
