The Bois des Huit Rues is a natural site in Morbecque. It was home to a German V1 missile launch base during the Second World War, and has been listed as a historical monument since 2007. More importantly, in 2022, the site became a memorial trail, thanks to a partnership involving the Ministry of Defense, Morbecque, Wallon Cappel and the ONF, among others. This walk is a perfect blend of history and nature: you'll come across blockhouses, a launch pad, other military buildings and a wealth of biodiversity!
