The most beautiful natural sites to discover Morbecque

The Bois des Huit Rues is a natural site located in the town of Morbecque. The site is steeped in history, as it was once home to a V1 missile launch base during the Second World War. Today, the site has become a memorial trail, thanks to a partnership between the Ministry of Defense, the Heritage and Archives Directorate, the State Secretariat for Tourism, the municipalities of Morbecque and Wallon Cappel, the La Coupole History and Remembrance Center in Helfaut/Wizernes and the Office National des Forêts. The Bois des Huit Rues has been listed as a historical monument since 2007. The trails are signposted, and trilingual panels help you understand the site.
