Aikido is a Japanese martial art that is made up of techniques, with arms and naked hands, using the force of the adversary not to defeat it, but to reduce its attempted aggression to naught. No "pratiquant": Aikido is practised by women and men of all sizes and ages. The courses are open to all for 16 years. Ueshiba Morihei, founder of aikido, focused on the full development of the individual. Faithful to this tradition, students observe the teacher to demonstrate a gesture or catch and then work with a partner to reply, in the fairest and most effective manner. The purpose of the practice: technically, physically and mentally move in the right mood. It is this spirit of conviviality that the leaders and members of this club maintain.
