THE DUNES OF FLANDERS
The Syndicat Intercommunal des Dunes de Flandre is an institution with several responsibilities such as beach cleanliness and safety, but also the management of leisure facilities, animation and promotion of the territory from Dunkirk to Bray-Dunes. These 15 km of beach are bordered by the North Sea and 700 hectares of dunes classified as national nature reserves. With the Syndicat Intercommunal des Dunes de Flandre, you can organise outings but also and above all many water sports to discover on the website of the dunes of Flanders: initiation to sailing rather sporty (in J80), cruising on a livable sailboat, family outing, weekend cruise, catamaran training, windsurfing, optimist... The activities take place in Bray-Dunes (Base du Clos Fleuri), Dunkirk (Marine Nautical Base, Regional Sailing Center or Base Nautique de la Licorne).
