PETITE CHAPELLE NOTRE-DAME DES DUNES
This chapel contains numerous ex-votos left by sailors as a token of their gratitude to Dunkirk.
A venerated place of worship, the chapel contains numerous ex-voto items left by sailors as a token of their gratitude. In 1953, stained-glass windows retracing the history of the chapel were designed by Abbé Pruvost. Today, its superbly star-spangled ceiling and hanging models are a sight to behold. A beautiful procession takes place every year on August 15, starting from the little chapel. The chapel is open all week for visits and masses.
