Proudly located on the Quai des Hollandais, this hotel-restaurant has made waterzoï its speciality and the result is just right!

With its view on the port, its magnificent central bar and its successful decoration, Aux Waterzooi is a must if you are in Dunkerque. The star of the restaurant is, as its name suggests, the waterzooi. This Belgian dish based on fish or chicken is served like a soup in a soup bowl and the broth is bound with cream or butter. The taste of good home-made food can be felt and the quality-price ratio is remarkable. Special mention for the welcome of Sophie in the dining room and her son and chef Maxence.

Check-in un peu compliqué, l'appareil ne fonctionnait pas, j'ai appelé et une solution à été trouvée et j'ai récupéré ma chambre dans les 2 min. Bon hôtel, lit très confortable. Bon petit déjeuner.

Quite surprised by the 4.4 score here. Beds were comfortable and the ladies serving breakfast kind, which turn two stars to three stars. We had a room vue port. Sounds idyllic but means it’s on a noisy busy road. Rooms are small! Freezing bathroom. Hardly any welcome and no answers to emails. Breakfast very very boring. This hotel presents itself as something special but it is pretty basic.

Établissement bien placé tout proche du centre ville.
Du poisson bien sur, mais pas que.
"Aux waterzooi" porte bien son nom : Très bons waterzooi de poisson ou poulet.
Et puis les très bons merveilleux de chez Fred.
Le personnel est sympathique.
Le rapport qualité prix est très bien.

Nous avons mangé au restaurant en famille, tout était très bon, serveuses très gentilles, même s il n y avait pas tout ce qui était sur le menu, il y avait quand même du choix ,nous avons tout essayé, apéritif, entrée,plat, dessert |On y retournera |Prix raisonnable
