The church has 2 bells: the Bray-Dunoise, the biggest, rings during festivities and the Islandaise for joys and mourning.

The church - dedicated to Our Lady of the Dunes - contains two bells: the larger one, the Bray-Dunoise, rings during festive periods, while the smaller one, the Islandaise, is much lighter (524 kg) and announces joys and mourning. On the pediment of the church is written: "Marin crois en Dieu implore ta protection en Notre Dame des Dunes et à l'heure du danger ne désespère pas". The little church is said to keep a chest containing Icelandic earth in a secret place...

Ambiance conviviale pour un croyant belge francophone. Les sermons du doyen, à la messe du dimanche à 09h30 , valent le déplacement, quoique parfois un peu longuets. Le passé de professeur d'histoire de l'abbé lui donne le moyen de faire comprendre les méandres de la Sainte Bible aux innocents de mon espèce
