A major work by British sculptor Sir Anthony Caro, the Chœur de Lumière de Bourbourg.
The Choir of Light is a major work by British sculptor Sir Anthony Caro, designed especially for the church of Saint Jean-Baptiste. The aim was to breathe new life into its Gothic choir, which had been partially destroyed during the Second World War. The various paintings retrace the origins of Man and Earth in a raw, uncluttered style. Inaugurated in October 2008, this work of art breathes new life into the chapel. In all, the work comprises a set of fifteen sculptures spanning the 450m2 of the floor, which was conceived as a pedestal.
