Scientific organization with educational gardens, working in the conservation of wild flora and threatened vegetation.

Since 1991, this scientific organization has been tasked by the French Ministry of Ecology with the knowledge and conservation of wild flora and endangered vegetation. The institution has set up educational gardens on a 25-hectare site, including a wild plant garden, a medicinal plant garden, a meadow and a botanical workshop for practical work and simple manipulations. A fun and instructive visit!

Opening time and information on NATIONAL BOTANICAL CONSERVATORY OF BAILLEUL

Open Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 12pm and 1:30pm to 6pm; Friday, 8:30am to 12pm and 1:30pm to 5pm. Open to groups at weekends by prior arrangement. Free admission for children under 12. Adults: €4.50 (€6.50 for the 2 educational gardens). Semi-guided tour: €6.50. Animations.

not bad. a calm, relaxing walk of 1-.1.5h around the 2 gardens. kids for free and adults pay €6.5. when you have some time to kill.

Un conservatoire botanique qui peut se visiter avec un guide

Jardin très sympathique à visiter lorsqu'il fait beau. La visite guidée est très enrichissante, on voit bien que le guide aime son métier et ça fait plaisir. Simplement dommage d'avoir une partie du jardin où les plantes ne sont pas présentes, mais c'est la saison qui veut ça.
