Markets Albi

An architectural treasure, its first version is attributed to André Jules Michelin in 1901. At the time, its creation required the destruction of the entire neighborhood. The result was a building that could accommodate up to 25 butchers and charcuterie stores, 10 fishmongers and 115 market gardeners, fruit growers and cheesemongers in 4^m2 dressing rooms. The space has been refurbished without losing its former soul, and now takes on the silhouette of a Baltard-style pavilion where people still come to shop for fresh produce and gourmet foods.
