For more than a century - 4 generations - the house has been open to gourmets, Les Marronniers is the obligatory stop on the road to Santiago de Compostela. Marie-Claire makes culinary jewels out of the black diamond: truffle omelette, stuffed chicken, wild boar stew in season... Generous portions and a warm atmosphere. At the crossroads of the paths, the gîte always reserves the best welcome for hikers, horseback riders or cyclists. Arrivés dans ce Restaurant par hasard, nous avons découvert le menu au fur et à mesure avec une cuisine traditionnelle qui nous a rappelés la cuisine de chez maman à la campagne. Soupe+entrée œuf mimosa avec pâte de canard et salade verte+tomates farcies+ veau en sauce avec haricots blancs+fromages à volonté +pastis gascon, le tout pour 28 euros, un dimanche midi. Très agréable surprise qui mérite d'être connue et reconnue.
