The Château du Cayrou, built in the 17th century, is a historical landmark with fascinating and romantic details. A visit to the park planted in 1856 and the magnificent cellars is in itself a feast for the eyes, then comes the tasting: the 30 hectares of vines, almost 40 years old, are 90% malbec and 10% merlot. It is an authentic expression of the malbec grape variety, combining its power with the finesse of the tannins. It is an ideal place, inviting you to stroll and discover the wine of Cahors and the heritage of Quercy.

Opening time and information on CHÂTEAU DU CAYROU

Low season: open Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm. High season: Monday to Saturday from 2.30pm to 7pm. Possible opening by appointment outwards these opening periods. From July 1st to August 31st: free guided tour “Of the vineyard to the wine”, approximately 1 hour. Monday to Saturday: in French at 4pm and 5.30pm and English at 2.30pm (with a tasting offered).
