Museum organizing parent-child vacation workshops

Samadet has left its mark on the Tursan region, becoming famous for its "royal earthenware factory", founded in 1732, which for almost 100 years produced the richly decorated pieces for which it is famous. The Musée Départemental (3 km from town) tells the story of Samadet earthenware and tableware through three permanent exhibition halls. Parent-child workshops are organized during the vacations.

Petit musée de qualité qui explique très bien les différentes céramiques. Ludique pour les enfants. L'expo temporaire était très belle et intéressante.

Accueil très sympathique, les supports d'explications sont bien conçus, les collections sont très belles... quant à l'exposition temporaire, très intéressante, cela nous requestionne sur notre rapport à l'alimentation, et sur ce que nous souhaitons mettre demain dans nos assiettes ! Et surtout dans cette belle région de terroir, eh bien, défendons la qualité et apprenons à préserver nos ressources naturelles ! Belle visite, à recommander, pas beaucoup de visiteurs, à faire connaître !
