This is the birthplace of Saint Vincent de Paul, where you will find his house and the neo-Byzantine chapel

Le Berceau is the birthplace of Saint Vincent de Paul. You will discover Ranquines, his birthplace. You will also see the eight hundred year old oak tree under which Saint Vincent kept the flock as a child, and the neo-Byzantine style chapel whose stained glass windows evoke the life of the saint. The exhibition "Comme un grand feu" (Like a great fire) retraces the human, social, political and spiritual journey of Saint Vincent, from his baptism in 1581 in Pouy (the former name of the village) to his death in 1660 in Paris. A video is also projected in the barn. You can be accommodated for a retreat (56 rooms with all comforts, 32 of which can be double) or simply rest there while enjoying the places of worship and the garden.
