LES POILUS DE VERDUN - MUSÉE DU POSTE DE GARDE
Museum located in the former guardhouse opposite the Citadel, retracing the career of Michel Dupré, a Mayenne designer.
Opposite the Citadelle, the former guardhouse, abandoned for years, now houses a museum. It retraces the career of Michel Dupré, a Mayenne draughtsman who was swept up in the war in 1914, thanks to his many drawings, but also thanks to Pierre Brancher, a photographer in the same regiment. A faithful reconstruction with an exceptional collection of objects that belonged to the Poilus. A 3-in-1 venue, the museum also includes a restaurant and store. An authentic visit.

But i also want to rate the restaurant. The food is just great, great service and very clean restrooms.
You dont find such a great place many times at tourist hotspots.
Great work staff, keep going.
Eintritt verhältnismäßig hoch aber ok, die Sammlung hat absolut sehenswerte Objekte bzw. Relikte des "großen Krieges" wie er in Frankreich genannt wird.
