Opposite the Citadelle, the former guardhouse, abandoned for years, now houses a museum. It retraces the career of Michel Dupré, a Mayenne draughtsman who was swept up in the war in 1914, thanks to his many drawings, but also thanks to Pierre Brancher, a photographer in the same regiment. A faithful reconstruction with an exceptional collection of objects that belonged to the Poilus. A 3-in-1 venue, the museum also includes a restaurant and store. An authentic visit.

Il s’agit d’une collection personnelle donc bravo pour tout ce qui est présenté dans ce musée. De plus l’histoire qui y est écrite est originale et suit le parcours d’un poilu au talent de dessinateur. Je conseille vivement, le plus est pour la boutique car ce qui est à l’accueil est à vendre.
Je conseille vivement et n’hésiterai pas à revenir pour découvrir les projets à venir.
