L'HÔTEL DE BOUSMARD
Renaissance-style mansion built in the century, one of whose windows still has a mullion in Saint-Mihiel
Sold as a national asset in 1793 for 9,960 francs, it was returned to the Bousmard family, who bequeathed it to the town in 1855. The hotel was built in the 16th century. The Renaissance-style facade is inspired by the colossal order, with Doric columns on the second floor and Corinthian columns on the second. One of the windows still has a mullion, and an old gargoyle is visible under the roof. This attractive building, which can be enjoyed during a stroll, has been listed as a historic monument since 1926.
