The Federal Union of Consumers, the first consumerist movement in France, informs on the rights of consumers, the regulations in force and the evolution of the market. It represents them with the public authorities, is interested in the laws and new treaties that regulate trade. It also underlines and controls the quality of imported and exported products and tries to settle disputes between customers and professionals. It is a voluntary organization with weekly meetings.
