3 days of debates, interviews, readings, conferences, exhibitions, book signings and prize-giving! Supported since its inception 40 years ago by the Académie Goncourt, Livre sur la Place is a major event for the city and its surrounding area. It attracts numerous professionals and visitors from far beyond the city's borders. At Place de la Carrière, the fair has been bringing together hundreds of authors and over 180,000 visitors for over 40 years. It also takes place at City Hall, the Conservatoire, the Palais du Gouvernement and even in schools, hospitals and prisons!
