The tannery is one of the activities that made the city's richness and reputation from the Middle Ages. The Bastin family, established at the Moulin Wisps in the late th century, today hosted JM Weston. It still produces "old" leather (used for soles of footwear) with various very long processing phases: processing of the skins, first cleaning, bath of vegetable tannin, maceration in the pits, drying in the open air, methods to the old which give time to tan for maximum quality. Places visit a few days per summer, upon reservation.
