The Périgord-Limousin Regional Nature Park is an area rich in natural and cultural heritage, including Mas Nadaud.
Pageas has plenty to surprise you! Take the trail to the Mas Nadaud stronghold, where Richard the Lionheart is said to have spent his last night before being mortally wounded at the foot of the Château de Châlus. This 6 km loop, between ponds, streams and mills, offers superb panoramic views of the Limousin countryside. Along the Gorre, near the rest area, you'll also find "le sentier musical" (1 km), where you can discover some 50 species of tree used in the manufacture of musical instruments. A fascinating experience.

The house and the Périgord-Limousin regional nature park are located in La Coquille. Whatever the season, the house invites you to explore the park with its varied landscapes, picturesque villages and outdoor activities. Discover its four tourist entities and their riches with suggested itineraries. These are the Bocage Limousin, the Massif des Feuillardiers, the Jumilhac plateau and Isle valleys, and the Périgord valleys. As far as activities are concerned, you can opt for a hike along the signposted footpaths, a walk with donkeys, a mountain bike or vélo-rail ride, a walk along the voies vertes, etc. Various activities such as fishing and nature walks will delight young and old alike during your family visit. They take place around the La Barde lake, overlooking the Parc naturel régional Périgord-Limousin headquarters, at partner sites or at natural sites of interest. Each year, a tourist map is designed to help you visit the region. An ideal place to discover nature!
