LE MOULIN DU GOT: A LIVING PAPER MILL MUSEUM
Ecomuseum where you can discover the stages of book making, the evolution of paper-making techniques and graphic arts
The Moulin du Got perpetuates the memory of 500 years of papermaking activity, presenting the public with every stage in the manufacture of a book: from paper to printing. Built in the early 16th century on the Tard, a tributary of the Vienne, the mill produced paper until 1954, when it was recently reopened. The site offers creative workshops, demonstrations and artist residencies. A picnic area and hiking trail extend the visit.
