The Jean-Louis Coquet brand has existed since 1963, but the factory where it is based has been in operation since 1824. Coquet white is often enhanced with gold or platinum. The collections reinvent a modern classic, and some creations are exhibited at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and the Centre National Georges Pompidou. On the banks of the Vienne river, the factory store offers magnificent fine and culinary porcelain, especially second choice. Guided tours of the factory in summer.
