This cave is a replica of that of Lourdes. It was inaugurated in 1947 in the Gorges Gorge, following the desire of Father Elias in 1939 to build a monument to the Virgin if the soldiers of the parish all returned from war. It is located 200 metres from the village at the most picturesque point of the river. Nearly 20 000 pilgrims come every year, especially during the four annual pilgrimages. They travel through the punctuated paths of oratorical, statues of Notre-Dame de la Salette and Notre-Dame de Fatima, revered by the Portuguese, and a cross road with vivid colours that go to the chapel, rubble of granite and surmounted by a thatched roof. Tradition: take water to the fountain under a granite cross.
