ROYAL LIMOGES MAGASIN D'USINE
Royal Limoges is the oldest factory in Limoges. It was in 1797 that François Alluaud, the pioneer of the porcelainière industry, founded this factory. And since 1816, the Fabrique factory has not moved. It is still here that traditional collections are produced, "guarantees manufactured and handmade." The table services are particularly appreciated for their resistance by the hotel and restaurant professionals (Fouquet's, Plaza Athenaeum, Hotel Meurice, etc.). The factory store presents the creations in 1 st and 2nd choice. Classic white services, like the Récamier, combine contemporary collections like the Pompeii range with its large cracked border, decorated with gold thread, or in bucolic creations, the «Paradise Plant» model, fresh and romantic. The decoration is often inspired by floral inspiration, while gilded are invited on more geometric or inlay grounds. On site, you can also visit the Four oven. It is one of the last wood and charcoal ovens still standing in Limoges and the only one available to the public.
