The good fountains of Cussac, famous devotional sites in Limousin, dedicated to Saint Jean.
Famous places of devotion in Limousin, preceding Christianity, the good fountains of Cussac are among the most atypical. Dedicated to Saint Jean, there are three of them: the one by the roadside would cure toothache, the second one in the heart of the chestnut grove would be for any kind of pain, and the third one, inaccessible on private land, would take care of cattle. The site has been laid out: explanatory panels, benches, a green theatre and hiking trails make it easy to appreciate the site. At the end of June, the good fountains still give place to a festival with on the program: morning walk, mass with the Cantarella choir, pigeon release and wine of honor, meal with stuffed pig, folklore group...
