The Peyrassoulat site is a remarkable natural zone of ecological, faunistic and floristic interest (ZNIEFF). It is home to an exceptional flora, including rare ferns such as the royal osmund, periwinkle carpet, ground hazelnut and wild St. John's wort. On the banks of the Tardoire, two plane trees over 250 years old, one of which is listed with a 40 m span and 6 m circumference, and four hundred-year-old yews form a sublime canopy of vegetation. A must-see for nature lovers.
